Jacqueline Brogdon grew up in the Chicago suburbs and is a recent graduate of Washington University in St. Louis where she majored in International and Area Studies and minored in Writing and Spanish. In university, she studied abroad in Madrid. She is currently serving with AmeriCorps NCCC in California. She is a lifelong travel enthusiast, “foodie” (even though she hates that term), and book lover. She has worked at her public library for the past 9 years and hopes to someday publish her own book. Some of her interests include camping and the outdoors, long trips in the car, the color yellow, peanut butter, and comedy (especially The Office). Her other writing can be found on Storyluck.org.
